Homeboy To The Rescue

This was about two boys that got into a gang when they was kids. This talks about  how they wanted to leave the gang life. This all so talks about how they life was growing up in Los Angeles. The two boys wanted to get out the gang life so some guys told them to talk to a man  name Father G about finding a job and they did and  he gave them a job at this place called homeboys. This helped them out a lot in life because they got out of the gang life and had a job. Yes, I do think that father Boyle's philosophy works because it gave them jobs when no one els whould.

Beyond Brave

Beyond Brave is about a  girl was attacked by a 15-foot tiger shark when she was out surfing with her friend Alana and her friend father Holt. Bethany Hamilton did not react to the attack until after the attack happened. She then want over to where her friend and father was and Holt seen that her left arm was gone and bleeding bad so he used a surfbord leash to help it from bleeding. But today she is still surfing.

Teaching Chess and Life

When i was reading this story i had a big connection with this story. My  connection was i had somebody in my life that had a impact on me that was my godmother. She had a big impact on me because she told me to stay in school and to become something in life. My hobby that keeps me on track is football and being a  cheerleader. I love being a cheerleader that keeps me from  bad things at school and home. So i see where he is coming from when  he talks about the man that impact he.
